HERE’S A TIP
January 5, 2022
OPEN A WINDOW.

Parents are the most influential factor in whether or not a teen decides to drink alcohol. 1This is one reason it is so important for you to open a dialogue with your teen about your expectations and rules when it comes to underage drinking.

When you have conversations with your teen about underage drinking, remember to let them speak too and listen to what they have to say. If you have a consistent and honest conversation with your child about what you expect, they will be more likely to listen.

Don’t wait until something smells fishy. Talk to your teen today about underage drinking and make sure they know you are there to help keep them alcohol free.
